Kerrville Schreiner Park January 2021

——-Well, here I am on my first camping trip of the new year. I am here for three nights, and two of them have already passed. I decided to come here because I knew I would be able to get for hook ups. I haven’t dumped the tanks for a while. Since I am winterized, I use antifreeze to flush. But, eventually even that fills up the tank and needs to be dumped. I will do it here and use the backflush to clean it out. Enough technical junk.

——-As you know doubt no, I got a new Canon camera for my birthday this past November. Anyway, as much as I was looking forward to coming here and taking some wonderful pictures of birds and other living things, I had to send my lens in for repairs. It just suddenly stopped communicating with the camera the way it should. That means, that I am back to using my old Canon camera which does not have a viewfinder. It has been really challenging, but if you look at my bird blog site "It’s Alive", You will see that I am managing.

——-The ash juniper (mountain cedar) did not really hit me until late last night. I took some Benadryl hoping it would let me sleep peacefully through the night, but I did wake up at one point with a horrible it’s just inside my trachea. I think that’s what that pipe is that goes down to your lungs . Anyway, I got out of bed brewed a cup of hot chocolate and sept it to alleviate that bitch. When I woke up this morning, my throat was screaming at me from snoring all night. My mouth was totally dry. Oh well. I knew to expect a lot of cedar when I’m camping right in it.

——-The weather has been perfect so far. I did notice this morning when I looked out the window that there is some indication of a rain during the night. As long as it’s not pouring on me, I’ll still be able to get out and take hikes. It doesn’t get really muddy at this park.

———Anyway, I’ll update this later in the day. The only thing on my agenda today is taking hikes, shooting pictures of birds, and going to get my gas tank filled up.
