It started raining during the night. It hasn’t stopped much all day long. Sometimes it’s lighter, sometimes it’s heavier, but it’s raining most of the time. I canceled my trip to Marvel Falls to visit the brewery any Cajun food. Hopefully, later I’ll be able to go get some gas.

It’s not all bad. At least my steps got a good washing in the rain. If you remember, a squirrel ate the carpet off of one of my steps when I was at Palmetto State Park a few weeks ago. I ordered two new carpets and installed one of them when I got here on Monday. But, when I went in the camper to get the other one, I tracked Texas wild

persimmon fruit all over the new one. It was a God awful mess. I decided I wouldn’t put the other one on until the next trip somewhere else far away from the persimmon tree. But, when I went out a little while ago, the rain head totally cleaned that step. I couldn’t even get it clean scrubbing it yesterday
