Rachel and I went for two nights at Blanco State Park this year. We learned a few days before that the Stilbanks, Shuddes, and Morans would also be there. Stacey had told me she and Randy would be there months ago, but that's all I knew. We got there the day before everyone else, but did sit around the fire with them on our second night. It was really nice. The fire was great, and the company was awesome.

The rest of our time included three bird walks, three restaurant meals, three trips for cocktails at distilleries, a visit to a new brewery, shopping on the square, and watching Christmas themed movies in the camper. I think we both had a great time. The only downer was that all my bird photos were awful.
